About IDFA

IDFA is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting children, teenagers and adults with diagnosed Primary Immune Deficiency (PID) disorders. A member of the Immune Deficiencies Foundation Asia Pacific (IDFAPA), it's focus is on educating the public and health professionals about PID, lobbying and ongoing medical and scientific research

Caring for those affected by primary immune deficiences by providing information advocacy and support

Board of Directors

IDFA is governed by a board of directors including two leading medical professionals specialising in PID. IDFA has a professional medical advisory panel.

History of the IDFA

The Immune Deficiencies Foundation Australia (IDFA) is a non-profit organisation and a registered charity. Formed in 2005 with support from the IDF/KIDS Foundation of New Zealand. IDFA is part of the Immune Deficiency Foundation Asia-Pacific Alliance and has the support of leading Immunology health professionals both in Australia, New Zealand and Internationally.

The IDFA's focus is on educating the public and health professionals about PID, lobbying and ongoing medical and scientific research.
