Family and loved ones can donate in memory of a loved one who has passed away as lasting tribute to them.  The Foundation will send the next-of-kin a letter advising of the who have donated in memory of their loved one and a certificate in memory of the person.

How to organise a donation collection at a funeral

Many families request donations to IDFA in lieu of floral tributes

If you or a Funeral Director are arranging the funeral, the IDFA can be contact in regard to "In Memory Envelopes".  These will be available for family and friends to complete and can be returned individually to IDFA or collected by the family and returned as a group.

How do you let guests know about making a donation in lieu of flowers

The simplest way to do this is to include the request in the funeral notice with the following wording.

"In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations can be made to the Immune Deficiencies Foundation Australia (IDFA) in memory of.......... Please forward your gift to IDFA, PO Box 149, Stroud NSW 2425

Please make sure you include the following information

The name of the person the donation is made in memory of
The name and address of the next of kin
The name and address of the person making the donation, so IDFA can forward a receipt.
Cheques should be made out to The Immune Deficiencies Foundation Australia or IDFA

Donations can be made by:
 
  • By cheque posted to PO Box 149, Stroud NSW 2425
  • Direct Deposit to:

Please put reference: ILF and surname of the person the donation is in memory of
